LAURA IS THE BEST!! I have been waiting a very long time to get the shots I have dreamed of, she was able to make my wish come true. I have shot with many photographers and I have never felt so supported, so understood. I believe Laura sees who you really are and is able to bring the best out of a person. That is what she did for me and for the very first time my agent and myself are "over the moon" about my pictures. I am so grateful I found Laura and FINALLY got the pictures I've always wanted . Thank you, Laura

Laura is THE BEST. I had an amazing time working with her and the results are beyond my wildest expectations. I never felt so good about my headshots. I still can't believe we got all these great looks in one-hour !

I just shot with Laura for her Special Deal of 1hr/100 shots (as many looks as you can muster) for $175!! As far as I'm concerned this is THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN!!

I was able to get in 6 LOOKS!! Mind you, I was VERY PREPARED and new exactly what I wanted (which I definitely recommend for this deal). Laura let me control the quick pace and captured every single look I set out for perfectly! She adjusted me as needed and she was quite accommodating with the brightness I wanted to increase for my background.

I will definitely be shooting with her again!!

The one thing that can separate aspiring actors from auditioning is the HEAD SHOT! Finally, no more worrying! I kicked off 2012 with a Laura Burke photo shoot, and I am beyond happy with the entire experience-from the shoot, to viewing the proofs. Laura is such a professional. She created such a comfortable environment. It wasn't stressful, yet all of the objectives were met. I love how Laura didn't just shoot some shots-she requested to see the "character" in each of your different "looks", so she knows how and what to shoot. We were able to get 20 (or more)shots of each of my 5 looks in an HOUR! Fast, and productive! Not to mention, her photo location is on the backlot of "The Lot"studios in West Hollywood. Talk about getting you in the right frame of mind! My shots came out absolutely fantastic, and I can now say in confidence that my new head shots will book plenty of auditions this year. Thanks Laura! :-)

i highly recommend working with laura! it was like spending the day taking photos with an old friend. she made it fun, light and enjoyable- an experience that is not easy to come by when you are referring to a photo shoot.

at the same time as being fun and friendly laura was extremely professional and knows the industry so knows how to advise and direct you.

one of the great things about laura ,that is different and stand out from other photographers, is that she will not direct you into a pose/idea/look were you feel uncomfortable or fake. laura is great in the fact that she works with you to find your own individuality/uniqueness within a look so you are presenting the best version of YOU, because your head-shots should reflect the best version of you and she helps you find and hone that which is why casting directors and agents love her work.

I highly recommend laura!

Great deal with the one hour slot! Such a great concept - it forces you to come prepared and ready to go so your shots have to come out great! And they do - most definitely.

Laura was a pleasure to work with. Not only is she a professional with a great eye, she also makes for a fun relaxed environment so you feel comfortable and get the best shots. Her pricing is very reasonable and you get a lot of bang for your buck! I'm so pleased with the quality of her work. She's great with natural light. Definitely worth hiring!

Laura Burke is AMAZING. I signed up for her 1 hour special, and was so incredibly pleased with the results. She is down to earth and grounded, and truly cared about what I wanted. She helped me to relax, and gave me just enough direction to enjoy the session. When I saw my pictures -- I was no only impressed with what Laura had captured in ME, I was thrilled with the quality of the images -- including the backgrounds. It's an art to get that slightly-out-of-focus background that makes you POP, and not every photographer can do it. My agent is really happy with the pics -- and I will recommend Laura to everyone!

I just had the pleasure of shooting with Laura and all I can say is she is AMAZING! We totally bonded over the fact that we're both from Long Island and had a great time with the shoot. I felt totally comfortable and relaxed and the shots came out spectacular. I'm very happy with the result and have been getting a lot of compliments on my new headshots as well. Will definitely shoot with her again!

Laura does magnificent work, and she offers a variety of different packages at several different price ranges. I took advantage of a "$150 for an Hour" special that she was running. She shot four looks with something like 25 or 30 shots apiece, and I have a minimum of four viable options from each look. (I have done shoots in the past where I had two possibles out of more than 100 shots.) Laura has tremendous energy, and a wonderful eye for a picture. I can't say enough good about both the shoot and the pictures I got out of it.

Laura Burke is an amazing photographer. She is full of spunk and fantastic energy that helps you feel confident and at ease. I can't wait to recommend her to my friends and fellow actors! As a first timer, I did not know what to expect other than that she is highly regarded. Laura did not disappoint. She was a real professional and made me feel relaxed. Not only was it a fun, learning experience, the pictures turned out great!

Receiving the proofs through email made it easy. I was able to browse and select my favorites at my leisure. Pricing is competitive. Trust in her work and you'll be very pleased with the outcome!

Laura rocks. I shot 4 looks in 1 hour with her special. So much fun and lots of great photos! She is hilarious and knowledgeable about what casting wants to see. Loved working with her!

Laura is awesome. I did her special 1 hour session and got more great shots in that hour than in many half day shoots I've done. You can't beat the value. She's super warm and friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away :)

If a picture is worth a thousand words than Laura's pictures are the greatest story ever told. She will make you shine. She is a PRO and her prices are right. Do yourself a favor and get pictures from her, your confidence in your career will sky-rocket as she will give you the most important tool you need to get in front of casting, your headshot! Plus she is a sweetheart, her awesome personality will bring out the BEST in YOU!

I love her new deal! So many of the photographers that offer deals like this don't actually take good photos. Laura Burke is usually on the more expensive side but you get a great product. Make sure you ask for the one-look deal. It's perfect.

Laura is great! Being from Boston and having lived in NY, I love her straight up, no-nonsense style. She tells it like it is, while being funny, friendly and the consummate professional. And her work speaks for itself. There are only a handful of really good headshot photographers in LA and she is one of them.

Laura was FANTASTIC to work with! I'm more of a musician than actor, so my comfort level in front of a camera is...well, a little less than the typical actor's would be. Again, I'm a musician! She made me feel completely at ease, and knew exactly what I was going for. She knew that I'm not an overly 'done up' person, and understood the energy that I was looking for in the shots. She was so great in talking me through what to do, as frankly, I had no idea. She was fun, we had a riot, and we got AMAZING shots. Honestly, it's really hard to get good photos of me. I usually make really weird faces, for some reason. She helped me to NOT make those faces, and I now have photos of me that I actually like! And, now I have another photo for the back cover of my next album! I would recommend her to anyone for any photo reason. Truly fabulous. Thanks, Laura!

I really loved shooting with Laura. I wanted to do my own hair/makeup and she was totally cool w/it, plus she kept an eye on it for me throughout the shoot and kept the "shine" down to a minmum. :) I really like the way she shoots - chin down, expressive eyes, etc. She makes sure your pictures are character-driven and that you "pop" from the background. I will definitely shoot with her again!

I had so much fun working with Laura!
I had a very tight schedule to get my headshots ready and Laura made it happen with full support.
The results were amazing! I had a hard time picking one out.
I highly recommend Laura Burke for your go to headshot photographer!
She is fun to work with, she makes you feel relaxed and welcomed, you can tell that she loves working with actors! Plus, amazing shots for a very reasonable price!

I really did my homework before investing in this round of headshots and Laura Burke Photography came up multiple times on the lists of my contemporaries. I am very pleased to report that my session was fantastic. My only problem is that I have too many great shots from which to choose.
